Laura M. Jecker, Sr. Advisor

Laura Jecker holds a dual BS in Marketing and Management and a MAEd (Masters in Elementary Teacher Education) from University of Phoenix. She is well versed in working with the public at charity events and in fundraising. She has over 25 years in sales, marketing, and promotions experience.

Laura has worked as a director of marketing and sales with a few resorts from 1987 through 1998. Since 1998 she worked as an associate broker and realtor. In 2010, she also began working as a substitute teacher from K-12th grades in Pennsylvaniam and became a K-6 certified teacher in 2011.

A massive stroke left her paralyzed at the age of 23 but with determination she recovered without therapy. She underwent open heart surgery at the age of 23 while Troy was 3 months old. She knows and understands the strength it takes to get through difficult situations. Laura currently substitutes at local districts in her area in kindergarten thru 7th grade while she waits for a full time teaching position.

Laura, a resident of NE Pennsylvania, is married and is the mother to 4 wonderful and active children- Chad (22), Troy (20), Harrison (10) and Arianna (7).

Laura was appointed as a Senior Advisor to the LEOAC' Advisory Board due to her assistance on the case of U.S. vs. BP Agent Jesus E. Diaz, Jr.
